Les Giettes (Valais)

Scope of work: Schematic design, design development, planning application, construction.

3D Visualisation: Alexandra Zerweck

Brief

Development of 4 chalets for sale with panoramic views over Lake Geneva to the north and the Martigny bend to the south.

Proposal

Careful consideration of sun path, wind exposure, and view corridors ensures respectful integration into the natural surroundings and existing fabric. The layout appears discreet from the road, with only one chalet in view. At the rear, the other 3 chalets (including two semi-detached units) follow the slope, minimising excavation and ground disturbance.

Outcome

Progressive architectural dialogue across the 4 chalets, transitioning from rustic-inspired lines to a resolutely contemporary expression. Units are for sale with bespoke interior finishes.
